Revu Terms of Service

Effective date: June 5, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Revu, a mobile app that provides personalized skincare analysis reports and related features (and, in earlier versions, skincare-program preview images, "renders") from photos and information you provide. By using Revu, you agree to these Terms.

What Revu Provides

Revu provides AI-assisted cosmetic skin analysis reports, general skincare guidance, and (in earlier versions) AI-generated cosmetic preview images, all for informational, educational, and personal purposes. Revu is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not replace consultation with a qualified clinician. Generated results are illustrative only and are not guarantees of surgical, cosmetic, dental, dermatologic, weight, hair, or aesthetic outcomes.

Skin Analysis Reports and Recommendations

Where Revu provides a skin analysis report, the report describes what appears visible in the photographs you provide, prepared with AI-based tool assistance and general published research. Everything in a report, including findings, explanations, product categories, routines, plans, and timelines, is a recommendation and general information only. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a prescription or treatment plan.

• Analysis quality depends on your photographs. Poor lighting, angle, or resolution can limit or change what a report describes, and AI systems can be inaccurate or inconsistent.
• Reports may draw on general research about skin and aging, applied to your inputs. Individual skin varies; results of any routine or product are not guaranteed, and timelines described are typical ranges from published research, not promises.
• Reports are not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified professional about any skin condition, symptom, or change that concerns you, before starting new products if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under dermatological care, and about any known allergy or sensitivity.
• You are responsible for how you use the information Revu provides, including patch-testing new products and following product labels and professional guidance.
• Revu does not sell, endorse, or guarantee any third-party product a report may mention by category or example.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Revu.

Your Photos and Inputs

• You are responsible for the photos and information you upload.
• You must have the rights and consent needed to upload any photo you submit.
• You may not upload images that are illegal, non-consensual, exploitative, abusive, or that violate another person's rights.
• You may not use Revu to impersonate, harass, exploit, or deceive others.

AI-Generated Results

AI systems can produce inaccurate, unrealistic, unexpected, or inconsistent results. Revu works to preserve identity and realism, but results may vary based on photo quality, pose, lighting, procedure choice, provider availability, and model behavior. You should not rely on generated results as medical, financial, psychological, or professional advice.

Subscriptions, Renders, and Billing

Revu offers auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple processes billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds under Apple's terms. Revu does not receive your full payment card number.

Fair use. Each subscription includes up to 25 AI renders per calendar month (your program goal, per-area renders, regenerations, and any automatic retries). The app shows a notice when the monthly allowance is used; the allowance refreshes with your next billing month.

Credits are used to create generated results. Unused credits remain available while your Revu account exists. Cancelling a subscription stops future subscription credit refreshes but does not automatically remove unused credits already granted to your account. If you delete your Revu account, unused credits tied to that account may be forfeited. Restore Purchases may restore active subscription access or recoverable purchase state, but Revu does not guarantee restoration of unused credits after account deletion, especially when a subscription has expired, been cancelled, refunded, charged back, or cannot be verified.

Account Deletion and Subscription Cancellation

You can request deletion of your Revu account in the app. Account deletion removes Revu account data, saved generation records, and stored generation files, and may forfeit unused credits tied to that account. We may retain minimal purchase, credit ledger, fraud-prevention, and legal records as required to support purchase restoration, prevent duplicate grants, and meet accounting or App Store obligations. Apple manages subscription billing separately, so you must cancel active subscriptions through your Apple account if you do not want future renewals.

Service Availability

Revu depends on backend infrastructure, Apple services, payment systems, and third-party AI providers. We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. Generation times and availability can vary.

Acceptable Use

• You may not attempt to bypass paywalls, credits, rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
• You may not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe, or interfere with Revu systems.
• You may not use Revu for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or non-consensual purposes.
• You may not submit content involving sexual exploitation, minors in sexualized contexts, or other prohibited material.

Intellectual Property

Revu, including its software, design, branding, prompts, systems, and content, is owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms, you may use generated results for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain any rights you have in photos you upload.

Disclaimers

Revu is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated results will be accurate, suitable, available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revu and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Revu changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, when appropriate, provide notice in the app or through the App Store listing.
